02Prices

Prices you
can trust.

1

Prices from real sales, not asking prices.

Why it matters
An asking price is what a seller hopes for. A sale is what someone paid. Values built on listings drift up and stay there.
What to ask
Does the price come from completed sales? Can you see the sales behind it, with their date and grade?
PredicTCG
Prices come only from real sales, never from asking prices: 7.3M+ sales analyzed. Every sale shows its date, its grade and the original listing.
2

Every grade priced on its own.

Why it matters
A raw card, a 9 and a 10 are three different markets. One "graded price" hides the gap you care about.
What to ask
Is each grade priced separately? Are grading houses kept apart?
PredicTCG
Up to 13 grades priced per card, from Raw to BGS 10 Black Label. Graded cards keep their house, on its official scale.
3

Bad sales cleaned out.

Why it matters
A proxy, a reprint, a lot of ten cards or a damaged copy can pull a price far from the truth.
What to ask
Are sales like these kept out of the price? How often is it checked?
PredicTCG
Every sale is checked and cleaned every day before it counts.
03Forecasts and grades

How sure,
and which grade.

4

Forecasts that show how sure they are.

Why it matters
Anyone can draw a line into the future. What matters is how sure it is, and how much the price can swing.
What to ask
Does every forecast show its confidence and its risk? Are they measured on real sales?
PredicTCG
Forecasts from one month to five years, each with its confidence and its risk, measured on real sales. The five-year view is free; PRO opens every horizon.

Prices and forecasts are estimates based on past sales and are not financial advice.

5

A scanner that grades, not just finds the card.

Why it matters
Finding a card by photo saves typing. An estimated grade tells you whether it's worth sending to a grading house.
What to ask
Does the scanner give a grade? Does it show why: centering, corners, edges, surface?
PredicTCG
Four photos, front and back, flat and tilted. An estimated grade from 1 to 10 and what the card is worth at that grade: 10 free scans a month, slabs always free. PRO adds four sub-grades and a defect map on your own photos.
04Your collection

Every card,
every game.

6

One value for your whole collection.

Why it matters
You want one number you can trust, raw and graded together, that moves with the market.
What to ask
How often is it updated? Can you see it over time? Can you take your list with you?
PredicTCG
All your cards, raw or graded, with one value updated every day. Line or candles by day, week or month. Top movers over 7, 30 or 90 days. PDF or CSV export. 47 currencies.
7

The languages you collect.

Why it matters
A Japanese or Chinese card sells at its own price. Mixing languages gives a wrong value.
What to ask
Are languages priced apart?
PredicTCG
English, Japanese and Chinese cards, each priced apart.
8

The games you collect.

Why it matters
One app for every game you collect, with the same care for every card.
What to ask
Which games are covered, and how many cards?
PredicTCG
Nine games: Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Gundam and Riftbound. 336,726 cards, as of 23 October 2026.

FAQ

Price app questions.

What makes a card price app accurate?

Three things: prices from real sales, each grade priced on its own, and bad sales cleaned out. Without them, even a fresh price can be far off.

Why do apps show different prices for the same card?

They use different sales, clean them differently, mix or split grades and look at different time windows. Ask each app where its price comes from.

Are asking prices useful?

As a ceiling, sometimes. Not as a value: a listing is what a seller hopes for, a sale is what someone paid.

Is PredicTCG free?

Yes. Prices, your collection, the five-year forecast view and 10 grading scans a month are free, forever. PRO is $9.90 a month or $99 a year.

Does PredicTCG buy or sell cards?

No. PredicTCG shows prices, grades and forecasts. It doesn't buy or sell cards.

Which games and languages does PredicTCG cover?

Nine games: Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Gundam and Riftbound. English, Japanese and Chinese cards.
