Four photos.
One grade.
Each side flat, then tilted. The camera shoots by itself.
Front, flat
Lay the card down. The camera finds it and takes the shot.
Front, tilted
Tilt the phone a little. It shoots again.
Back, flat, then tilted
Flip the card and do the same.

- 2What that grade sells forReal sales, grade by grade. A 9 can sell for little more than raw; a 10 for much more.
- 3What grading costs youThe fee, shipping both ways and the wait. Fees change: check the house's own page.
Scanner questions.
Is the scanner's grade an official grade?
No. It is an estimate from our proprietary grading engine. Only a grading house gives an official grade.
How many photos does a scan take?
Four: the front and the back, each flat and then tilted. The camera shoots by itself.
How many scans are free?
10 a month in the free app, and slab scans are always free. With PRO, scans are unlimited.
What does PRO add to a scan?
Four sub-grades (centering, corners, edges and surface), each with what the scanner found, and a defect map that circles each defect on your own photos, front and back.
Will the grading house give the same grade?
Not always. Each house grades by eye, on its own scale. Use the estimate to choose which cards to send.
Which grading scales does PredicTCG know?
PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, TAG and ACE, each on its official scale. PSA and TAG never give a 9.5; ACE gives whole grades only.
Are my scan photos private?
Yes. Your scan photos stay private, and location data is removed.
